Well Roadracing World are reporting that it's Team Hammer / M4 Suzuki that Hopper is talking to about a return to the AMA not Rockstar-Makita Suzuki. This seems much more plausible.... more

shaydapaul, The word "corse" simply means "race" in Italian, it has nothing to do with Ducati. Any Italian racing team will likely have the word "corse" in their name somewhere.... more

Interview

Oh I understand that he was under a lot of pressure from sponsors etc. I actually don't necessarily believe that his move from Suzuki was a mistake...what was he going to do? Just make up the numbers on an uncompetitive bike the rest of his career? Or get out and mix it up a bit? Besides that, at the end of '07 the Kawasaki looked to be at least as competitive as the Suzuki. I didn't think it was a bad move at the time. Wow great interview, thanks Linda. That's the first time I've ever heard John say that it was a mistake to leave Suzuki, of course with hindsight we'd probably all agree but I was still surprised. Also surprised to hear that he doesn't have a contract with Stiggy but I'm sure with some good results this year he will get one for 2010. As always best of luck Hopper!... more

Hopper back for Donington - Race thread

John was awesome in Race 1. Can't wait to see what he can do after some testing. The commentators said the Hoppers ride was the ride of the race and Johan Stigefelt said that John "really has shown he is a top rider" Can't wait to see John at 100%. Go Hopper!!!... more

At least it appears that SpeedTV are going to show both races on Sunday! It won't be live but it's better than nothing. The first time I found a rattlesnake on my back porch I about pooped myself, now days I just eat them raw. It's the black widows, tarantulas & scorpions that scare me!... more
