Hopper back for Donington - Race thread
Awesome effort Hopper and really good to see you go so well in Race 1. Shame you couldn't make it out for race 2 but it's a very positive step forward and hopefully you'll be nearer fully fit for the next round. Oh my god no, please tell me it's not true. I heard a rumour that you and Joachim Phoenix had become good friends and that he had hinted that after spending a few weeks going coast to coast on Honda Goldwings with a new bike racer buddy he had decided to put a rap band together with said racer. Then it all started to make sense. John what is the status?
If you were in Melandri's position after such a disastrous year last wouldn't you be expecting not to get paid this year too ;) Sadly I think it is all too quiet because NOTHING is happening. Definitely doesn't look like a WSB ride is on the cards anymore and Dorna have opted for a European rider for the SakDorna berth so can you blame John for maybe laying low and seething for a while. Kawasaki's timing stinks. IF they ever come back you'd like to think that riders would think twice about committi...... more
