ASSEN: Im (Hopper) doing ok....

Hey its John, right now I am waiting to board for my flight to Minneapolis, then straight to California for some time off to heal.

I have this sunday to rest, then I am off to San Francico to get a full evaluation from my personal Doctor.

Right now I need as much rest as possible so I am in full fitness for my return, i want to be ready in all aspects

The crash was a big one!! My biggest and fastest of my career for sure!!!

unfortunate for me I did hit an unprotected wall and have sustained some innjurys to my ankle and knee, but its yet to be determined the actual diagnoses until I see my Doctor in America for a full second opinion.

I cant say for sure when ill be re-enetring the season but dont worry, I will keep you all posted ;-)~

Get well fast, Jonh! Cheers from me and my 9 year old son from Portugal - you've signed his cap and my jacket. You remember, for sure, as we were all over you at the paddock in Estoril :-)
MotoGP is not interesting without the Kawi in it (Ant's not doing well, unfortunately, so we need you there fast. Seems like the JH's are the ones - John Hopkins, Jamie Hacking, ...)

Hahahahahaha! Rossi rode without a footpeg....
I watched the race (sunday night in the UK)oh and the qualifying! It must be weird being there as a spectator, is it not Hopper? I would so love to go the race at Laguna - but unfortunately, we're not all made of money like Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt! Mwuahahahaha

Hi Gothmum. I hear, on Eurosport, that the bikes will be replaced in time for Brno. Hopefully, they will remove the pedals. (joke)!!

Hi Hopper and everyone else! I am new to the community and just wanted to introduce myself! I am German, but live in the UK and have done so for some time. Hopper - good to hear the op went well and that you'll have some time to recuperate. We'll see you back at Brno? (only on TV for me)....hope the kwacker team will sort out those bikes for you - Westie's not having too great a time either, is he? Good healing vibes from me (Heike)

I just got to London (was in the New Forrest for a week) and saw you won't be able to race at Laguna & was just crushed, but you've gotta heal before you can compete again & that's just the nature of the game.

Hope you have a quick recovery & get the green machine in the fight again soon!!!

Hi John, thanks again for keeping your fans in the loop. Hope you heal quickly, and let your body recover from all the other beatings it has been given this year.

I was just wondering what your thoughts are on the developement of your bike? There has been some obvious bad luck this year, but are you happy with the direction the team is goig?

All the best mate, get well soon.
