It is so quiet around here, I thought I would post a really boring discussion. :)
We have been watching the recaps of the MotoGP seasons starting with 2001. It has been so much fun seeing the "old" guys when they were just starting and also seeing a lot of talent that has since retired. I did not become a GP fan until 2003 so I had some catching up to do.
Last night we watched most of the 2003 season. There was a part where some of the GP riders went to the Cannes film festival. Low and behold there was a VERY young Hopper! It was so cute to see him looking so young. He still looks young but he looked teenager young. He also had a few top 10 results that year.
I have to say racing was so much more exciting without the traction control. Watching the boys slide through those turns was awesome! Seemed to be more crashing going on, though.
Anyway, there is my boring post for the day. :)
