Linda (Mama Hopper)write me that John is doing ok. He is going to Brno. The pain is still there somewhat but he says he thinks he`ll be alright.

Just 6 more days! What a long break!!!! I'll be in Maryland next weekend but we'll take the laptops so we can watch qualifying and the race. Looking forward to it!

Thanks for the advice. Brno is definitely near the top of my list, I will have to see if I can pull it off for '09. Judging by the map, if they would just schedule Assen, Sachsenring & Brno on straight weekends then I could do all three on the same vacation, how awesome would that be!.

I'm going to write to Dorna and have them set this up for me, I shouldn't think it will be a problem!

Brno is awesome, the train station is kind of dirty but once you get away from that you are good. You can walk most of the city but it does get a bit spread out. I booked my hotel through pole position travel and the shuttle to and from the hotel to and from the track was worth it. If you get a hotel in the city get one close to the brewery, that is where the other shuttles pick up and drop off.

the last 6 years i go to Brno with some friends for a week
its a great country for bike and a realy super racetrack
you can make it your 4t circuit to go to .

Veit I'm sure you are right about Gibernau but you would think he would take anything he was offered given that he doesn't even have a contract. I never even heard that he was offered a Kawasaki for '07. Maybe he will line up next to Hopper next year but I still think it will be Melandri.

I don't think Ant West will be with Kawasaki next year.

Schep, I am very jealous that you are going to Brno that's awesome. I hope you have a great time. I've only been to 3 of the MotoGP circuits Donington, Le Mans and Laguna Seca but I would love to visit the Czech Republic. Is that where you live?

cant wait , been ther 20 july to see the WSBK an had a great time but there were not so many people to see the race ??
this circuit has the most spectators for years when the GP arives but with the sbk there were a lot of empty places
tomorow is another WSBKrace and its great to watch

As far as i know they want kalio to ride a alice ducati - but i don`t know if he wants to... *g* Maybe now that D`Antin is no longer the head of the team.
I am also not sure if Sete is willing to ride a bike without the factory support he has had the last years - it was said that he even didn`t wanted to ride the kawa in 2007. But i am not sure if this was true. If he really wants to ride in motoGP again, there are only a few places left at the moment - he should hurry up now!

I think that Ducati are not willing to pay two riders and as long as Marco refuses to leave without his pay check then he will stay on. It's surprising that Ducati can't just fire him and refuse to pay him, it must be something in his contract, I have no idea how these things work but I wish I had a contract like that with my employer!

I could perhaps see Sete on a Satellite Alice machine next year as reward for the testing but I don't think he will get the factory ride.

I miss Mr. Gibernau.

I know testing doesn't mean squat but Sete's times have been very impressive.

What do you think about Sete and Ducati? He completed a 3rd test this week. Is there a chance of a comeback for him this season or maybe in 2009?

AMP: i think there is a good chance that Melandri could get the green ride, going back to Gresini should not be a really good solution. He would not get the factory support from Honda for a few years.

. Only two more weekends and Hopper will be back ready to kick arse! So you guys reckon Melandri will be alongside Hopper next year? I haven't really heard any other names come up?
